Call or send an email and we’ll book a same-day or next-day appointment when availability allows. Most bookings are confirmed within 2 to 4 hours because a fridge problem can’t wait.

Fridge Repair and Component Replacement

After approval, the repair begins. Failed fans, sensors, boards, or defrost parts are replaced as needed. Airflow problems are corrected so the fridge can cool evenly and shut off properly. Many fridge repairs are completed the same visit when the required parts are on hand. If a part needs to be ordered, we source it and return within two to three business days.

Fridge Diagnosis and Written Estimate

Once on site, we go through the fridge system to isolate the failure. Temperature issues are often caused by condenser fan motors, evaporator fans, defrost components, or control board faults. Constant running can point to airflow restrictions or sensor failures. We test the components, confirm the cause, and provide a written estimate before any work begins. If the repair doesn’t make sense based on the fridge’s condition or age, we’ll explain that upfront. If you move forward, there’s no diagnostic fee.

Final Testing, Clean-Up, and Warranty

Before leaving, we confirm the fridge is cooling correctly and cycling as it should. Fans are running, temperatures are stabilizing, and error conditions are cleared. We clean up the work area, remove any old parts, and explain what failed and what was repaired. Every fridge repair includes a 90-day labor warranty along with manufacturer coverage on new parts. If the same component fails during the warranty period, we will return to fix it at no charge to you.

Viktor and his family moved from Saskatchewan to Ottawa over three years ago because they wanted to explore more of Canada and experience living in a new place. Upon arriving in Ottawa, they were captivated by the city and so decided to settle down here and give back to the community by creating a truly affordable family-run business. Fridge Repair FAQ

Door Gasket is Worn or Dirty: If your fridge door is not sealing properly, it can cause the fridge to work harder and increase your energy bill. You can clean the gasket with soap and water or replace it yourself with a new one.

Evaporator Fan Motor is Faulty: If your fridge is making strange noises or not cooling properly, the evaporator fan motor could be the problem. This part can be replaced, but it's recommended to hire a professional to do it for you.

Condenser Coils are Dirty: This can cause your fridge to run inefficiently or not at all. You can clean the coils yourself with a vacuum cleaner or brush.
